Carnival (or Mardi Gras in the US) is a festival season with street parades and masked balls. In Venezuela is a time for people to take a few days off and relax at home or take the opportunity to visit family and enjoy this festive time with them. The Carnival is a happy festival. A lot of people like masked ball, in specialty the children. I masked of Hawaii woman for a party in this past carnival, the party was wonderful. The other days I stayed at home; I didn’t go to the beach, because I didn’t have money. I rested in my house the days of carnival. My Sister and my nephew visited us and cooked a delicious soup

Vegas
The Carnival is a enjoy celebration. In Venezuela and other countries as Brasil do a big party with parades, coaches and dances every week. In Carnival I was in my houses with my family and sleeping, watching TV and movies. At the end of the week my family and I visit our grandparents.
Remember that the questions here are Where did you go? and What did you do?
The idea is to practice the grammar structure of Unit 11 which is the use of the Simple Past tense.

In the past days of Carnivel I were in the Colonia Tovar. I went with my husband and my daugther. We were walking in the stree and We saw a parade the costumes. I ate an onion soup and my daugther ates an hamburger. We drank strawberries juices. The weather was cold and we had dress jackets.
The carnival is a holiday in Venezuela and other parts of the world. People use these days to leave outside Caracas and to share in family; go to the beach, the mountain, etc. This Carnival I went to Higuerote, but I remained in the house, single a day I went to the beach because there was much people and I like to rest at this time.

I realise carnival on a trip outside of Caracas, we went along with my family to the beach (Rio Chico). It is located in the state of Miranda my family and I have a house in a Urbanizacion called Villa Nueva, we bathe in the pool, cook grill and celebrate the birthday of my son.
Girls, defining Carnival is not the issue here, again it is what you DID that you have to write about and thus practice at least 6 different verbs in past tense.

The four days of the Carnival prefer to enjoy with my family. This past week, the Saturday walk, swim, we were the day Sunday at the beach, bicycle handle the day Monday, stroll through the village and dinner in a restaurant after the nine. Also on Tuesday, was held a birthday party at the house and gave different dishes, children played, danced and ate. In the afternoon we returned along with the family's trip to the past couple big 7 o'clock in the evening
Last Carnival I went to Higuerote, I did visit my boyfriend's family. We
enjoyed good seafood, We swam at the swimming pool. One day We did take a ride in a bote to "Buche" beach. I also slept very much. I did enjoy this Carnival a lot, it's very helpful this days of rest.
Carnival is a wonderful opportunity for enjoy in special the children because they go to the streets to have fun with theirs disguises.
The last Carnival in Caracas was parades and amer hearse in the streets. I stated at home with my husband. Also we visited my mother and parents house, went to a movie and at the mall to saw the children with theirs coloring disguises. On Monday I listened music and played Scrabble with my father and my husband.The last day the Carnival I took a nap and relaxed.
